CHILDREN’S ADVOCACY CENTER: (CAC) announces an opening for a Family Advocate

Are you a great listener? Do you know about the social services across Hamilton County? Would you like to join a strong team and an established agency? The CAC is looking for a Family Advocate who will provide advocacy, crisis support, and case management services to child victims of abuse and neglect and their non-offending families and caretakers.



  • This position is a full-time, exempt position, working 40 hours per week.
  • Salary range is 42,000- 45,000
  • Upon hire, employees have 15 days of Paid Time Off and 11 days of paid holidays.
  • After three months, employees are eligible for:
    • Medical, dental, and vision insurance with the CAC covers 90% of the costs of the insurance package.
    • Life insurance and short-term disability insurance, with CAC covering 100% of the costs.
  • A retirement plan is also available to employees after three years of employment.




  • BA/BS in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or related field, or four (4) or more years of work experience in related fields.
  • Two (2) years of practical work experience with children and families
  • Child abuse, sexual assault, child protective services, law enforcement, or domestic violence work is a plus
  • Ability to think quickly and adapt to client needs


All successful candidates must demonstrate the ability to work with families who have experienced trauma; be detail-oriented and organized; possess exceptional interpersonal skills; work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment, and be computer/technology proficient.
