Prevention “Four” Our Children
Child abuse impacts one out of every four children.
It crosses every racial, gender, cultural, and socio-economic barrier.
The Prevention Education Department of the CAC offers
the following programs:
1)
Body Safety
This program is designed for
children Pre-K through 5th Grade in public/private schools, day
cares, camps, and churches. It
incorporates age-appropriate videos, presentation of body safety rules, and
discussion.

2)
Keeping Your Children Safe
This program is designed for
parents and addresses many of the lures that perpetrators use to access children
and provides safety measures for parents to follow. Classes are offered at no cost every 4th Tuesday from 5:30 p.m. -

3)
Recognition and Reporting
This is a Professional In Service
program designed for teachers, counselors, youth leaders, and principals.
In this program you will learn basic child abuse dynamics, recognition
indicators and state reporting laws. This
program is geared towards adult professionals and youth workers.
4)
General CAC Overview
This program gives basic
information on the Children’s Advocacy Center, its mission, and services to
child abuse victims. Great for
corporations and civic groups.
All presentations are provided
as an outreach of the Children's Advocacy Center of Hamilton County.
Presentations are available
without charge to community organizations, churches, and schools.
